Kyara is a first year Master’s of Public Health student at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health, specializing in the social and behavioural health sciences stream. She recently completed her Honours BA in Sociology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. Her research interests are centered on intimate partner violence in immigrant and racialized communities, as well as how inequity and other social factors can drive IPV perpetration and victimhood.
