Ashima is currently an undergraduate student studying Psychology and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include violence against women, trauma-informed counselling, trauma recovery, and childhood and family violence. She has worked with a diverse survivor base as a counsellor at the Toronto Rape Crisis center and hopes to pursue her M.S.W at the University to continue supporting these communities.
